Cisco Technology Is recognised in Hospitals In Egypt

An honorary trophy was presented to Cisco during a prestigious event to demonstrate the hospital's appreciation to Cisco for providing an innovative network solution that is specialized for healthcare facilities, and sharing the hospital's vision of building a world class hospital in Egypt.

'We were looking for a technology vendor that shared our vision for an ICT-centric healthcare strategy on one hand, and can share our passion to build an all-digital medical facility that can offer better treatment to our patients,' said Dr. Mohamed Hany M. Hussein - Professor of Pediatric Oncology Children's Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357 General Manager.

Hospital 57357 is one of the first success stories of a successful end-to-end all Cisco connected healthcare implementation in the region. With the results achieved today, the implementation has set new standards for planning and operating hospitals, defining future best practice for healthcare-related institutions and providers in Egypt. The Cisco-based infrastructure has been highly successful to Hospital 57357 in more ways than one. First, it has enabled the hospital to raise the quality of healthcare provision by giving clinical staff rapid, secure access to online patient records and medical images from anywhere in the building. This, in turn, allowed Hospital 57357 medical staffs to access accurate and up-to-date patient information that help them treat patients more quickly and efficiently.

This service has helped increase mobility, hence responsive of staff and their service to patients.
