Creative Designer
(Selangor - Bangi)

Responsibilities:

1. To produce practical and grounded design solutions that fulfill business and marketing needs
2. To comment and contribute ideas for cover designs produced by illustrators from Academic, Tunas, Children and International sections
3. To comment and contribute ideas for layout designs produced by illustrators and typesetters from above-mentioned sections
4. To design or create new cover, logos, backdrops, bunting, posters, bookcases, brochures, advertisement etc.
5. To search and test new software available in the market
6. To learn new software as and when required
7. To provide training to illustrators and / or typesetters on new software, new illustrating skills etc.
8. To secure new and relevant photographs, diagrams or illustrations from CDs, magazines, slides, newspapers etc.
9. To secure all projects or work assigned are accomplished on time
10.To carry out other relevant tasks as per instruction from the superior as and when required
Requirements:

1. Degree in Art/Graphic Design/Advertising or equivalent field
2. Demonstrated high proficiency in leading design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign etc.
3. At least 3 years of working experience in publishing and/or advertising field
4. Must demonstrate outstanding design talent and creativity
5. Able to work independently as well as a team player
6. Able to handle multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines
