Network Engineer for HP

Requirements:

From a technical perspective you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:
Troubleshooting and resolving firewall, WAN, LAN, DNS, caching and network security issues
Administering TCP/IP LAN’s (VLAN routing, VTP, Spanning Tree)
Administering large-scale and complex WAN networks
Troubleshooting skills in Cisco Routers and Cisco Pix
Diagnosing network problems and maintaining network security
To be successful in the role, you must have strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, firewalls, networks – routers, L2 and L3 switches, gateways and networking servers. A familiarity with Cisco networking products is essential. Experience in HP ITO and HP Openview, HP Procurve switches and knowledge of encryption and Virtual Private Networks would be a distinct advantage.

Our ideal candidate will:

Hold Cisco Certification to at least Network Associate (CCNA) level
Have an excellent understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Infrastructure Libraries (ITIL) processes.


This is a high-paced customer service environment, you must be used to working under pressure and be able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and have excellent problem analysis and management ability.

Fluency in English is essential, as is your willingness to work shift arrangements.
